Escrow Account Reconciliation Specialist - FREDDIE MAC LOANS - FHLMC

• The Freddie Mac (FHLMC) Escrow Account Reconciliation Specialist will review and reconcile the mortgage servicing organization’s FHLMC escrow accounts and escrow advances paid out or received on non-performing loans to tie out advances made to, or received from FHLMC, a government-sponsored Entity (GSE) made on behalf the borrower. This role will reconcile the assigned accounts to determine where to disposition escrow advance funds, which could be back to the GSE in full, or in the form of an offset, to the loan, to the new servicer, etc.

General Duties & Responsibilities

• Investigate and disposition all FHLMC escrow advance transactions on non-performing loans to determine how to disposition of funds in question
• Provide documentation for the purpose of supporting all FHLMC financial transactions
• Reconcile and process FHLMC transactions that are complex in nature

General Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Mortgage Servicing/Mortgage Banking Escrow Account Reconciliation experience in the Freddie Mac FHLMC domain required
• Experience reconciling escrow advance accounts on non-performing FHLMC Freddie Mac loans
• Possess knowledge of general accounting principles and mortgage banking systems
• Demonstrate the required skill to perform detailed work accurately and promptly
• Exemplify good communication skill and ability to communicate professionally
• Display problem-solving skill even under stressful conditions and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
