Esthetician - Advanced Women's Healthcare Services (Full time)
Job description
1. Apply various scrubs, lotions and chemicals to the client’s face and body to achieve the desired results.
2. Administer wax application the client’s face and body for hair removal.
3. Performs body treatments according to written protocol.
4. Examines client’s skin provide direction to upkeep the appearance after appointment using retail products.
5. Administers all treatments based on recommended standards and procedures for professional regulatory services.
6. Self-promotes within the Wellness Center facility. May represent and perform services at off-site locations as directed by Spa Coordinator.
7. Properly records treatments provided to clients.
8. Maintains adequate supply inventory; submits requests for supplies to facilitator.
9. Represents the Wellness Center in a professional, courteous, and enthusiastic manner.
10. Adheres to all Wellness Center and NCH Standards, policies and procedures.
1. High school diploma required.
2. Two years experience as a licensed esthetician required.
3. Licensure from Professional Regulatory Services.
4. CPR and AED certification from the American Heart Association required.
5. Annual flu shot required.
6. The interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with customers.
7. The language skills necessary to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
8. The communication skills necessary to convey information and instruction. The written skills necessary to document treatments.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Requires mild to moderate physical effort. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, and kneel, crouch, and crawl. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Frequent lifting of light weight and occasional lifting of average weight.
2. Flow of work and character duties involves part normal and part concentrated mental and visual attention.

1. Work is performed in quiet setting.
