The Executive Administrative Assistant - BOD shall be responsible for assisting the Board of Directors with certain department administrative functions. Specifically, receptionist duties, attending and preparing Formal Board, Audit Committee, and Board Compensation Committee Meeting Minutes. In addition, prepare, effectuate processing, and maintain Board member corporate credit card monthly reports. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.


Position Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative/clerical work experience is required. Five (5) years law firm or in-house legal department experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent working knowledge of English grammar.
  • Knowledge of office machines is required including all-in-one facsimile, copier, scanner and, corporate laptop, and calculator.
  • Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.

Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:

  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be an experienced, results oriented, hands-on professional with a pleasant personality and the ability to interact with the public and co-workers.

When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase to loud. Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor in dealing with the general public.
