Job description

a. Experience with low to high voltage electrical distribution systems and SCADA controls.

b. Minimum 5 to 7 years of Multiple-Facilities (500+) Electrical Systems installation/maintenance and electrical systems asset management.

c. Ability to develop electrical asset management plans and coordinate requirements between the 9 CES shops and the Asset Management Plan (AMP) Manager.

d. Ability to provide electrical technical direction and support to identify and troubleshoot problems, propose countermeasures, and resolve issues

e. Experience developing estimates using RS Means, E4Clicks, or other methods.

f. Experience with coordinating Environmental Compliance (NEPA, Permits, Hazardous materials, etc…). Facilities Systems Specialist’s will not be required to develop the compliance documents, but will provide project information to the 9 CES Environmental flight personnel.

g. Experience with the National Electric Code (NEC) and it’s applications to facilities electrical systems.

h. Ability to obtain a “T1” favorable background investigation.

JOB DUTIES:

i. This position is considered a “Sub-AMP Manager” working and reporting within the 9 CES Operations flight.

j. The Electrical Facilities Systems specialist develops electrical asset management plans, provides support to the 9 CES shops and AMP Manager, acquires electrical data, develops preventative maintenance plans, and supports cradle to grave portfolio capital project support.

k. Work/Coordinate with the Engineering Flight (CEN) and Environmental Flight (CEI) in managing and developing projects.

l. Coordinate warranty work with the shops, CEN, contractors, Base contracting (9 CONS), and facility users.

m. Coordinate work orders (Work tasks) and update status in the 9 CES work management system (TRIRIGA).
