Job Summary: Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on the facilities mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other installed systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned facility inspections and report on unacceptable conditions that could impact operations.
- General interior maintenance and repairs on door closures, plumbing flush valves, electrical receptacles, lighting, HVAC equipment, dock doors, and filter replacement.
- Assist in moving machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
- Order materials or report to supervisor materials needed in detail to expedite repairs and replenish stock/inventory.
- Must have competent knowledge of tools and maintenance methods used in maintaining equipment in a facility.
- You will be required to respond immediately to emergency situations and service requests and other tasks when assigned.
Qualifications:
3+ years of verifiable experience performing maintenance in a commercial or residential setting.
Mechanical Aptitude with light electrical, lighting, plumbing and carpentry.
Good verbal communication skills.
Must have reliable transportation and good attendance.
Vendor management and coordination is a plus.
