Family Medicine Physician (Family Medicine)

Intermountain Healthcare’s InstaCare urgent care facilities treat patients who are just short of ED-level acuity to help reduce hospital admissions. Our InstaCare facilities also have on-site labs and radiology, and our providers perform minor procedures, wellness, and physical exams on a walk-in basis for patients of all ages. You’ll also receive a generous stipend for serving the community in Pahrump.

Practice Information

• Clinic: Pahrump, Nevada
• Schedule: A consistent schedule of three 12-hour shifts/week. Schedules are distributed at least one month in advance
• Avg Daily Patient Census: 40 patients/day
• No call

Requirements

• Unrestricted Nevada MD/DO license
• Current Nevada Pharmacy Board license required prior to start date
• Current Nevada DEA certificate required prior to start date
• BC/BE in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages

Preferences

• At least two years of experience in Urgent Care/Emergency Room setting
• Rural medicine experience
