Job description

Primary duties: Customer service and good phone etiquette, read a map, accurately measure, take pictures, document properties and computer data entry. Assist property owners with paperwork and explanations. Work closely with other employees. Filing and scanning, accurately complete and meet time deadlines. Handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Possess and gain knowledge of, and abide by all Appraisal District Policies and Procedures. Demonstrate professionalism in conduct, appearance, and attitude toward working with the public and co-workers. Good organizational skills and be able to adjust as situations change. This is a predominately outside position with some office work. This person will be required to register with TDLR, take classes/test for required RPA designation. Classes and testing will require out of town travel and may require you to be away from home up to a week at a time. Must have a reliable vehicle and maintain the highest professional and ethical standards. Must have a clean back ground and be able to pass random drug testing.

Work experience: Must have a friendly out going personality and work well with the public.

Physical requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. of weight.

Education/skills: High School diploma or equivalent

Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratio and interest. Strong background in algebra and geometry.

Computer skills: excel, word, calculator, 10 key and typing skills
