JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Advisor Assistant's primary responsibility is to process the operations activity for the team and general administrative support.
Location: Swansea, 2610 N. Illinois
Shift: Full-Time
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Answer telephone, give information to clients, take messages, schedule appointments for referrals and track referrals
- Greet visitors, handle their inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs
- Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, addressing all regulatory compliance issues
- Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence and file correspondence in appropriate file
- Supply necessary forms for transactions and complete forms in accordance with company policies
- Review all transactions for accuracy and reconcile confirmation tickets to orders
- Maintain retention files
- Create Board report for all Financial Advisors
- Additional duties as assigned
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, preferred but not required
- 3-5 years experience in financial services industry, preferred but not required
- Excellent communication: oral, written and listening
- Multi-tasking

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of:
- Investments and their rules and regulations
- Compliance issues
- Company policies and procedures
- Department software/computer systems
Basic knowledge of:
- Computer system
- Office equipment
