We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team by joining the organization as a Financial Analyst supporting our Wisconsin locations! Your workload would be split between about 75% financial responsibilities and 25% accounting related tasks. In addition, this individual would be responsible for mastering our M1 ERP system and would have a desire to train our Wisconsin team on any ERP related questions.

Purpose:

Individual will be primarily responsible for supporting the Wisconsin operations by analyzing financial data, preparing management financial reports, assisting with transactional activity in the ERP system and providing forecast preparation and guidance to Wisconsin leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the CFO and finance team to review and analyze the financial performance of the Wisconsin operations monthly.
  • Develop root cause analysis and gap closure plans in conjunction with the WI leadership team when results are not to planned expectations.
  • Lead quarterly forecast and annual budget planning for the WI operations in conjunction with the CFO and Wisconsin leadership.
  • Manage the invoicing to customers and collection of balance due for Wisconsin accounts.
  • Assist with purchase order creation, invoice entry into the ERP system, and invoice discrepancy investigation.
  • Work with Wisconsin leadership to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity. Assist with new inventory part creation, understand the bill of materials for customer products, and conduct periodic inventory counts to verify existence and accuracy of inventory listings.
  • Perform cost benefit or breakeven analysis on specified projects.
  • Create, manage and distribute daily, weekly, monthly financial management reports to Wisconsin and Lake Air leadership.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze different projects to develop goals, measure performance and make recommendations.
  • Provide financial analysis support as needed to manage ad hoc projects
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Complies with safety rules as outlined in Lake Air’s Safety Manual.
  • Complies with the requirements of the ISO Quality Management System and departmental procedures, and work-instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accounting and financial processes – including month end close and financial statement preparation.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting, GAAP and ERP system(s).
  • BS/BA from accredited college.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
