The Financial Analyst will analyze and monitor financial data, trends, and indicators on both a standard, ongoing basis as well as on request. The analyst will assess the financial impact of proposed services and programs and monitor the financial cost/benefit of existing programs and services. The Financial Analyst will analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and advise the company on its financial strategy.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze business and financial data.
• Coordinate the analysis of financial data and the creation of financial models for decision support.
• Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
• Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends.
• Direct analysis of past results, variance analysis, and trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
• Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
• Development of cost studies and assignment of RVU measures to departmental procedures, reconciling to system financials to provide profitability analysis at the service line, product, physician, or payer level.
• Provide support for insurance contract modeling, reviewing contractual rates for profitability, and producing overall payer profitability analysis
• Provide support for physician recruitment analysis and physician compensation
• Support the annual budget process
• Provide backup of other accounting functions and assist on other projects as assigned
• Performs other accounting duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Two years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or data analyst, is preferred. Possesses a minimum of two years of experience with computer spreadsheets and database applications.

CMS requires that health care staff be Covid-19 vaccinated or Religious and Medical Exemptions will be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,524.24 - $85,000.00 per year
