Summary:

Responsible for updating monthly financial data and metrics for Payments management, Accounting, and the Board of Directors. Analyzes financial data, such as comparison between actual and budget. Assists the CFO and Accounting team with daily, monthly and quarterly tasks.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting.

Licenses/Certifications: CPA preferred.

Experience: Two the three years of related experience. A strong understanding of the payments industry is preferred. Experience in a financial institution or large tech organization is a plus. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Functions:

A: Job Specific:

• Draft annual Payments revenue budget
• Prepare annual Peer Bank analysis.
• Work closely with third-party vendors to complete required Payments escheatment filings.
• Manage pro forma's for new client deals to determine potential revenue.
• Review monthly revenue and expense with the Payment's team to forecast for new items and prepare monthly Payments financials.
• Build revenue models for contract renewal.
• Complete monthly revenue and earnings credit calculations for Payments programs.
• Create monthly revenue network pass-thru invoicing for Payments programs.
• Complete required income tax reporting (e.g. use/sales tax, FIT tax).
• Prepare monthly actual to budget and prior period variance analysis for Sutton Bank.
• Review Payments partners reserve accounts for adequacy and maintain tracking sheet.
• Compiles various Payments and Bank metrics and KPI/KRI dashboard inputs.
• Assists with the development of Payments cost analysis to facilitate billing to partners for Sutton services.
• Serves as the designated back-up for selected responsibilities for the Accounting department.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Expertise with Excel.
