Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst assists in identifying opportunities to increase revenue, reduce operating expenses and improve profitability in the organization. The analyst will work closely with the administration to evaluate and strategize business planning and opportunities based on financial and operational analyses.
The Financial Analyst provides divisional analysis and support and the development of business plans, workflow analyses, and operating metrics for each division. In addition, it is responsible for report writing, analysis, and maintenance for physician compensation modeling and developing and maintaining an efficient and organized tracking system for all contractual documents.
Key Results Areas (KRAs):
- Obtain a thorough understanding of assigned SBUs' (Strategic Business Units) organizational infrastructure and operations
- Provide accurate/timely financial answers and recommendations to SBUs' decision-makers and other stakeholders
- Support SBUs' decision-makers and other stakeholders with financial information requests
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial reporting processes and review variances
- Analyze complex financial information/reports for performance, trends, and variances
- Review key financial and operational metrics; effectively communicate to leadership any areas requiring special analysis
- Compile relevant data to organize sophisticated financial models, forecasts, and 'What-If' analyses
- Recognize data integrity issues within existing systems and assist in the correction process
- Monitor dashboard reporting and other information tools
- Collaborate with the Finance team and other functional areas

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Health required.
- Master’s of Business Administration (MBA), Public Health, Economics, or Healthcare Administration a plus
- 2-5 years professional experience in corporate finance required; healthcare background strongly preferred
- Previous work experience in statistical and data analytics required, preferably in healthcare
- Advanced in MS Excel, relevant accounting software platforms, and business intelligence tools
- Intermediate in other MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
