About the job
Demonstration of knowledge and experience in a wide range of general accounting functions who can also adapt quickly to a growing business is what will set candidates apart.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all finance and accounting operations
  • Coordinating and directing the preparation of the financial budget,

financial forecasts and report variances

  • Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
  • Collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data
  • Recommending financial plans and processes
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential

Controller Qualifications / Skills:

  • Managing processes
  • Auditing, accounting, and corporate finance
  • Tracking budget expenses
  • Financial skills
  • Analyzing information
  • Developing budgets
  • Performance management

Compensation:

  • $80k - $95k depending on experience

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or higher
  • 5+ years’ experience as controller
  • 2+ years of GAAP reporting experience

Reporting to:
The controller will report directly to AVA’s founding team.

Hours & Location

  • Monday - Friday
  • In-office in Lehi, Utah
  • Ability to commute or relocate prior to start date

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
