Electrical Components International (ECI) is looking for a Finance Support Specialist to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota. This is an on-site position.

Qualified candidates must have:

• Associate degree preferred; 5+ years of experience in similar role in lieu of degree
• 3+ years accounts payable experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word & Excel
• High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and multi-task

About the Position:

This position will ensure coordinating activities and cooperates with other departments to best serve vendors, co-worker, and business needs. The Finance Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and on-time payables and records relative to the accounts payable function of ECI.

Duties Include:

• Accounts payable and other accounting duties as assigned
• Retrieve invoices from emails and other media outlets
• Process invoices to verify the quantities, PO’s and price are correct
• Code, enter, upload, and save invoices
• Communicate with vendors and Corporate Accounts Payable to ensure timely processing and payment of invoices
• Process all credit card transactions for multiple facilities
• Enter payments for vendors
• Prepare multiple daily, weekly, and monthly General Ledger entries and reconciliations
• Prepare sales & use tax reporting
• Responsible for handling intercompany balance entries, reconciliations, and confirmations
• Assist with completing audit reports
• Run weekly KPI report; request and consolidate data from multiple departments into one larger report, including Sales, Quality, Operations, HR & Safety monthly cost of quality report
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree preferred; 5+ years of experience in similar role in lieu of degree
• 3+ years accounts payable experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word & Excel
• High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work with a team to achieve desired outcome
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and self-motivated
