River Oaks Country Club is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic Fitness Front Desk Attendant. This role is “mission control” for our world class fitness center. You will be the first point of contact for our Members and their guests.

Part-time Position

Must have availability to work Sat & Sun, and Mon-Fri 6am-2pm OR 2pm-8pm.

Qualifications & Personal Characteristics

• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Must be a team player; Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
• Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and a proficient multi-tasker
• Is easy to approach and talk to; Naturally builds rapport well with Members, guests and co-workers
• Able to push, pull or lift up to 20 pounds
• Previous experience in hospitality and retail desirable

Duties and Responsibilities

• Open and close the fitness center each day as required
• Book, change and cancel appointments using our POS system (Jonas)
• Greet everyone who enters and leaves fitness center facilities
• Provide detailed descriptions of professional services, treatments, packages, facility features and hours of operation, on-going programming and promotions and tennis lessons
• Handle member and guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by Members and guests
• Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized work area
