Position Summary:
The responsibilities of the floor tech include but are not limited to providing and maintaining the floor care of the facility including resident rooms, performing stripping, waxing, buffing and overall floor care under the supervision of the Maintenance or designated supervisor, and maintaining the environment of the facility to create a positive physical environment for the residents.

And that’s just the basics.

  • Must have experience in waxing, stripping, buffing and complete knowledge of floor care.
  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with others.
  • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
  • Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry
