Job description

Looking for an energetic individual who can provide support to our floral designers with everyday production. Design Assistant will assist all designers in gathering and prepping floral product and other items necessary for floral arrangements. This individual will also complete weekly inventory of design supplies, acts as a liaison between sales reps and floral designers on order clarification and keep design area clean and maintained. This is not a design position however it can lead to opportunities in the future.

• Self-starter who is energetic and flexible.

• Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.

• Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results.

• Forms strong working relationships within team.

• Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly to assist others.

• Follows direction.

• Withstands cold temperatures (32 degrees) for an extended period of time.

• Able to lift 40-50 lbs.

• Gardening or “love of flowers” preferred.

• Experience in a floral shop a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
