Rate: $16.00/Hour Plus Tips

Situated dockside on a marina overlooking the Peconic Bay and Shelter Island, The Shoals Suites and Slips is unique, as it is accessible by both land and sea. Guests and employees alike are greeted by a sweeping vista of Peconic Bay. We are currently seeking a Busser/Runner for our Food Truck where guests can order great food and relax on our lawn.

The food truck staff are the front-line face of our food truck with our guests. Staff must be attentive and responsive to customers anticipating requests and making suggestions about our menu.

Requirements

• Ability to be on stand for long periods of time.
• Professional and friendly.
• Effective, polite communication skills with guests and staff.
• Work well in fast paced, small area.
• Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they approach the truck.
• Serve food and/or beverages to customers.
• Stock service window area with supplies.
• Work with other staff members and be a team player.
• Maintain a high food standard and follow compliance in sanitation and up-keep of work area, utensils and self.
• Ability to be present, work independently and understand the necessity of swiftly completing assigned tasks.
