Job description
A food manufacturing company is seeking a Coordinator (Foodservice & Retail) to join their team in San Francisco, CA. This position is responsible for assisting the Marketing as necessary. Must have BA or BS with a focus on business, economics or communication. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, with excellent benefits and 401k. The first six months are in-person, hybrid options are available after the introductory period.
Coordinator (Foodservice & Retail) Duties:
- Assist overall coordination of Retail & Foodservice marketing programs for North America depending on assignment
- Assist in preparation of meeting materials (i.e. agenda, flight & hotel booking, PPT template, name cards, printing & binding presentations, etc.)
- Coordinate with PR Agency to produce advertisements, social content, marketing materials
- Create Instagram post for outreach initiatives as well as Dot online ads
- Review all invoices with the team and keep track of all agency and vendor invoices
- Help assist research in Foodservice industry using Technomic & Datassential
- Assist food show preparation
- Help assist data analysis using Nielsen and Numerator
- Handle day-to-day communication with designers to make advertisement for Canadian customers
- And other duties as assigned
Coordinator (Foodservice & Retail) Skills and Qualifications:
- BA or BS with focus on business, economics or communication
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent exposure to a corporate environment
- Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube
- Comfortable with “numbers” is must
- Strong MS Excel and PPT skills
- Strong Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator skills
- Must be able to lift and carry 30-50 lbs.
- Specific vision requirement is close and variable.
