The Youth Development Center Food Service Assistant provides food service for children in a licensed childcare center environment.
- Drives YMCA van to catering facility to pick up and deliver food to Youth Development Center locations in Bismarck.
- Prepares food portions for classrooms.
- Cleans and organizes kitchen and non-perishable food storage area.
- Takes inventory and provides information to the Food & Supply Coordinator for ordering.
- Prepares afternoon snack items for classrooms at the main location and school-age childcare locations.
Part Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-12:30 pm
We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Previous food service/food prep experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record and valid driver's license. The ability to work a dedicated schedule Monday through Friday, year round preferred.
