The City of Baker School System is seeking a full time 11 month Assistant Principal according to Bulletin 746 for Educational Leaders in order to serve Baker High School. One primary duty is to serve as the Assistant Principal of Instruction; however, all duties of an Assistant Principal are expected. Email dgrisby@bakerschools.org for Job Description. The first day for 11 month employees for 2022-23 is Monday, July 11, 2022, and the last day is Wednesday, June 28, 2023.The AP is responsible for assisting the School Princpal in the effective management of programs, personnel, materials, and facilities in order to develop optimum learning climate for the unique needs of a particular school site. He/she shall assist in directing the operation of the school in accordance with BESE and District policies. He/she assists in providing an educational program which is responsive to student needs; whle at the same time, addressing the goals and objectives of the District and Baker High School. He/she assists in the planning, implementing, monitoring, adn evaluating functions of the overall management and leadership of the school.
He/she shall assist in the school's operation within the financial limitations of the District and Baker High School. The Educational Leader standards are Domain I School Vision, Domain II School Culture, and Domain III Instruction.
