Job description
Summary: The main purpose of the Forklift Driver is to operate a powered industrial truck to load and unload lumber and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading areas.
Responsibilities:
- move lumber packs
- Stack items safely in correct storage bays.
- Locate and move stock of products.
- Responsibly follow all safety procedures and policies, work together with co-workers to ensure a safe workplace environment and culture.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating 6,000-8,000 lb. forklift required.
- Hydro-static forklift experience preferred.
- General Lumber and/or Building Materials knowledge preferred.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outside, year-round.
- Reading, writing, and math competency demonstrated by high school diploma or equivalent.'
