Here’s are the specifics:
- Greet all visitors professionally and in a courteous manner ensuring that individuals are redirected to the appropriate contact as necessary.
- Collect entrance fees for all museum visitors.
- Assist with museum events as needed.
- Track inventory, restock, straighten, and clean gift shop displays.
- Create memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Constantly work to improve processes; make suggestions for productivity improvements, and optimize team member workflow, while continuing to meet our customers’ needs.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to succeed in this position:
- Must be available to work business hours specifically Monday through Thursday 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., occasional Fridays, and additional hours as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be available to work hours the museum is open to the public, evening and weekend events when necessary, specifically Saturday mornings.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and to multi-task.
- Must be able to use a computer and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Interest in history, especially automotive history is a plus!

Work Environment
- Ability to rarely lift or move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, occasional standing and walking.
- Occasional bending/reaching, twisting, kneeling, squatting.
- Rare work above shoulder level.
- Frequent pinching, grasping, fine manipulation with fingers to operate equipment and computer.
- Must be able to see, hear and communicate professionally.
- Heated and air-conditioned indoor work.
