The Four Points by Sheraton - Midtown Omaha is seeking to hire a hard-working and service driven Full-Time Laundry Attendant with a passion for hospitality. The right candidate is flexible, committed to customer service, and has a sincere desire to help others. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for removing, sorting, and folding laundry, and must be able to function well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
Washes, folds, stores, inventories, and issues or distributes hotel bed and table linen, towels, and uniforms by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collects or receives, and segregates, counts, and records number of items of hotel soiled linen and uniforms for repair or laundry, and places items in containers.
- Washes, dries, and folds hotel linens.
- Uses all chemicals and tools according to the instruction provided to prevent injury, accident, unnecessary damage or waste.
- Examines hotel laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability.
- Stamps items with identifying marks.
- Stores laundered items on shelves, after verifying numbers and types of items.
- Counts and assembles laundered items on cart or linen truck, records amounts of linens and uniforms to fill requisitions, and transports carts to floors.
- Conducts inventories to identify items for replacement.
- Keeps linen room in clean and orderly condition.
- May be required to clean guestrooms, bathrooms, public areas as specified by standards to include but not limited to: changing and making beds, cleaning, dusting, removing trash, replenishing supplies and vacuuming.
- Ensures the security of guests by following key control policies.
- Greets guests in a warm, friendly manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

- Recoge o recibe, y segrega, cuenta y registra el número de artículos de ropa de cama y uniformes sucios del hotel para reparación o lavado, y coloca los artículos en contenedores.
- Lava, seca y dobla ropa de hotel.
- Utiliza todos los productos químicos y herramientas de acuerdo con las instrucciones proporcionadas para evitar lesiones, accidentes, daños innecesarios o desperdicios.
- Examina los artículos lavados en el hotel para garantizar su limpieza y capacidad de servicio.
- Estampa elementos con marcas identificativas.
- Almacena artículos lavados en estantes, luego de verificar números y tipos de artículos.
- Cuenta y reúne los artículos lavados en carros o camiones de ropa blanca, registra las cantidades de ropa blanca y uniformes para cumplir con los pedidos y transporta los carros a los pisos.
- Realiza inventarios para identificar artículos para reemplazo.
- Mantiene el cuarto de ropa blanca en condiciones limpias y ordenadas.
- Es posible que deba limpiar las habitaciones, los baños y las áreas públicas según lo especificado por las normas, lo que incluye, entre otros: cambiar y tender las camas, limpiar, desempolvar, retirar la basura, reabastecer los suministros y pasar la aspiradora.
- Garantiza la seguridad de los huéspedes siguiendo las políticas de control de claves.
- Saluda a los invitados de manera cálida y amistosa para garantizar la satisfacción de los mismos.
