Oak Ridge, Knoxville, TN 37931

Monday through Friday 5am - 2pm

Knox Auto Parts - Knoxville is looking for a Shipping Assistant to be responsible to ensure that products are properly packaged, labeled, and shipped to customers. The required output level of the job would typically involve meeting daily shipping targets as set by the Shipping Manager and Company.

Essential Job Functions

• Efficiently pick, pack, label, and ship orders
• Receive inbound shipments and ensure products are inspected, processed, and are put up in an organized manner.
• Maintaining an organized work area for optimum safety and production
• Willingness to fill in as needed in areas within the department
• Provides quality service by abiding by the company’s expectation of exceptional customer service practices and enforcing the same practices with subordinates.
• Contributes to the team by leading by example when it comes to company processes and procedures.
• Utilize machinery and equipment

Requirements

• Follow and Promote PPE and Safety Requirements
• Forklift operating experience or willingness to learn
• Ability to load into box trucks
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must prioritize tasks
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Promote Teamwork and Positive Culture
• Attention to detail is a must!

Job Type: Full-time

Starting: $16.00 per hour
