JOB PURPOSE and FUNCTION:
Fulfillment Operator is responsible for assembling projects and or paper materials that cannot be machine produced. Operators are also responsible for assisting machine operators in whatever capacity enables the job to be completed by the due date. Fulfillment Operator organizes crews of temporary help provided by staffing agencies to meet demand of client needs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
§ Hand assemble job in a specific order and/or sequence to the needs of client instruction and specification.
§ Provide job organization leadership and direction to others on job needs based on job ticket and specs of the job.
§ Direct work activities of temp resources provided by temporary agency by assessing the scale of job, labor and resources required and coordinating activities and instructions. Measure productivity of resource and evaluate continuance.
§ Demonstrate the ability to provide structure within custom manufacturing process when job requirements and specifications require different techniques and approaches within a short timeframe.
o Attach and/or glue specific parts
o Bundle or package materials by location/ destination or sequence
§ Maintain a clean work area

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
§ Demonstrated proficiency in managing fulfillment coordination project by project with the ability to keep track of specific sequences of numbers and names.
§ Demonstrate the ability to convey instructions to small and large groups of temps with varying degrees of experience, skills and needs of the individual to create group performance.
§ Effectively utilizes job tickets to confirm the required specifications for each job. You will be required to follow written and oral direction and apply creative solutions.
§ Basic proficiency in using software and computer systems needed to perform the role: Internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), General office equipment and management information systems (Pace).
§ Demonstrate basic math skills and the ability to distinguish between colors and read small print.
§ Be able to perform all duties at an accelerated pace while still producing top quality.
§ Mechanical inclination with basic math and capability to convert fractural measurements to decimal.
§ Demonstrate flexibility in learning new aspects of the job, new equipment, new processes and scheduling: start times/overtime.
§ Ability to perform in a fast paced, team environment demonstrating cooperation, problem solving, customer service, creativity, flexibility and team building skills.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
§ High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent
MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
§ Prefer 2+ years’ experience coordinating others work in a positive, motivational way to create a positive team environment

SHOP:
§ Physical Activity: Standing up to 8 hours per day with the ability to walk, touch and climb at any point throughout the day. Some equipment requires the ability to walk narrow ramps and reach to adjust function. Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 30 lbs occasionally. Regular activities will include: carrying, writing, bending, grasping, standing, twisting, sitting, lifting, hand manipulation using fine motor skills.
§ Work Environment: Heeter maintains a safe and clean front office environment and warehouse environment. Some exposure to airborne particles such as paper dust, drying powder, ink and fumes may occur. May be advised or required to utilize personal protective equipment including, but not limited to: ear protection, eye protection, lifting harness, safety shoes.
§ Noise: In a manufacturing role, moderately loud noise is a constant
§ Visual Acuity: Ability to read and distinguish small print, have depth perception and color perception
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32,922.00 - $34,846.00 per year
