Imagine Supported Living Services is looking for ON CALL Caregivers needed for Weekends! This position is full time and eligible for benefits.

IMAGINE SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES is a non-profit agency providing individualized, consumer directed supports to adults with intellectual disabilities who live in their own homes throughout Santa Cruz County.

Home Support Specialists work, on a one to one basis, with an adult who has a developmental disability in that person's private residence. Duties may include: providing general companionship, meal preparation, personal hygiene assistance and activity planning, assistance in participating in community and other events, assistance with completing errands and shopping, providing transportation in the Support Specialist's vehicle to events, appointment and errands.

Client Care Responder (CCR) position: This position 40 hours and eligible for benefits. The Schedule is Thursday 8am - Monday 8pm On call. Driving Required.

CCR Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position is dependent on the client and program’s needs. This position serves as a “first-responder” for emergency shift coverage or shift vacancies for up to 40 hours per week. They are responsible for responding to and covering the first 40 hours they are called in for from Wednesday at 8am through Sunday at 8pm. If they are requested for less than 40 hours they will still be compensated for a full 40 hours.

Supported Living CCR: The primary role of the CCR is to provide direct support to clients is our Supported Living program. The CCR will be first in line to cover shifts when there is a call out with a client in SLS or when it is necessary to replace a staff on shift due to emergencies. This role provides support to the Lead Staff and Facilitator who are On Call on weekends and after regular
business hours.

Salary for SLS CCR is $26-$28/HR DOE.

Requirements:

• Personal Assistance: Ability to assist the individual with activities of daily living including bathing, toileting, and other self-help skills.
• Lifting / Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 or more pounds frequently.
• Challenging Behaviors: Ability and willingness to support individuals with challenging behavior.
• Ability to; read and interpret documents, write specific reports and correspondence, apply mathematical concepts to practical situations, solve complex problems, and to interpret written and verbal instructions is required.
