Position Summary: The SLP is responsible for providing direct resident care in accordance with established care plans and in accordance with a physician’s prescription.
Job Duties:
Performs an appropriate assessment on each resident as requested and in accordance with established internal clinical guidelines.- Observes and evaluates all speech therapy treatments provided by direct reporting employees.
- Conducts and documents speech therapy treatments to residents according to the established treatment plan.
- ASHA Certification Required.
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of one (1) year of speech therapy experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
