We are seeking a delivery driver, furniture mover/installer.
We are a home furnishings company that is seeking a qualified assistant delivery truck driver with a CLEAN driving and CLEAN criminal record/background - NO JOKE, BOTH MUST BE CLEAN - DO NOT WASTE MY TIME! Background check, drug screen, DMV and all other DOT-related requirements are required.
The job entails working with existing staff/driver in managing and organizing our warehouse of home furnishings as well as driving our '16 box truck and delivering furniture throughout the city, as well as other odd jobs around our facility. Delivery and furniture installation will include typical home furnishings (beds, sofas, chairs, tables, etc), but no appliances or electronics.
W2 Only: $15-$18/ hr depending on experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Dependable and Prompt
Class C Drivers License (min) - CDL not required
Clean DMV Report - no accidents, tickets, suspension or DUIs
Clean criminal background - check required - must be clean
Capable of lifting 75+lbs
Capable of lifting and maneuvering furniture into and out of houses/condos
Good customer service, interpersonal skills and ability to work with others
Ability to work with limited supervision and be on-time
Drug free
Read and follow directions/maps/gps
Clean and maintain delivery truck
Must have reliable transportation and be prompt
High energy, not interested in a sleepy candidate
Must have a "Get it Done" attitude and be willing to perform any other assigned tasks to assist fellow office staff and management
Must be a Team Player
WORK DAYS:Must be flexible during week days - Typically will average 3-4 days/week (no weekends): 8am - 4pm, but some days will be longer
