A well-known, high volume, upscale restaurant is seeking a General Manager. Knowledge of POS systems is a must. Thriving in a high-paced environment, delegation of tasks, quick decision making, energetic and positive attitude to welcome our long-standing patronage back to the restaurant are all great qualities we seek from our candidates. 5 years of general manager experience required. Must be able to work 50–55-hour work weeks. Responsibilities will include cash outs at the end of every evening, scheduling of staff, assisting with support staff, if necessary (i.e., hosting, expediting food, bussing tables, etc.), having open communications with office management and executive chef vis a vis reservation, allergies, guest issues, catering or large parties which may require separate menus. Being able to multitask under high paced conditions, overseeing the entirety of the front of the house operation, being detailed oriented and overall being passionate about the hospitality industry and lending your knowledge from past experiences to enhance our team! Competitive compensation package starting at 60k-80k annually and health benefits paid for. Salary negotiable with extensive experience.
