Confidential Upscale Casual Restaurant in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced full-time General Manager.

Confidential Upscale Casual Restaurant is a neighborhood bistro offering outdoor dining and a bar serving elevated classic bistro fare, predominately French wines, and classic & creative cocktails.

Open for lunch, brunch, dinner, and private events.

The ideal candidate shows initiative and leadership while at the same time being a great team player. You have a passion for hospitality.

Position:

• General Manager

Compensation:

• $75-95K salary
• Paid weekly
• 401K
• Health, vision, and dental insurance (pays 1/2)
• Paid time off

Schedule requirements:

• Open availability
• Weekends are a must
• 55-65 hours

Language requirements:

• English
• French and Spanish are a bonus

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role in an upscale casual restaurant
• P & L management (maintaining food costs, maximizing profitability)
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• Staff training and motivation
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• French Cuisine and Wine knowledge
• Payroll
• Scheduling
• Staff management of >20 employees

High-Level Responsibilities:

• Identify problems in the day-to-day operations and ways to fix them
• Manage day-to-day operations while also working toward long-term business goals
• Keep operations as streamlined as possible
• Understand key revenue drivers and identify any room for improvement
• Maintain daily communications
• Maintain FOH team development (identify talent and nurture growth development)
• Maintain company culture and staff morale
