JOB DESCRIPTION:
We're looking for a driven, enthusiastic leader to helm the team at our Bedford taproom. We're hoping that you are energetic, well-versed in front and back of house restaurant operations, and confident in an autonomous management role.
As a member of our Hospitality Leadership team (encompassing all Beale's and Trapezium taprooms), you'll manage and maintain our Bedford location through daily operations as well as future growth: hiring and training your team, coordinating events, monitoring operational costs and sales trends, and constantly finding new ways to improve on what we do.
We're looking for someone with strong restaurant roots and communication skills. As Taproom Manager, you'll lead first by example - developing and training your hospitality team while creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests. We're hoping you're a detail oriented, creative problem solver who thrives in the fast-paced environment of the food service industry.
Job Responsibilities:
· Hire, train and manage all taproom staff, create weekly schedules, and address disciplinary issues as they arise
· Ensure restaurant cleanliness and safety standards are met
· Track and manage sales reports and food & labor costs, minimizing waste
· As part of the management team, help design weekly specials, gather promotional content for social media, and coordinate events
· Create a warm, welcome environment for staff and guests alike; resolve customer concerns and complaints
Qualifications:
· Able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours, lift 25 pounds
· At least five years of restaurant experience, with two years of restaurant management experience - candidates with both FOH and BOH experience preferred
· Familiarity with food handling, alcohol, safety, and other restaurant guidelines
· Available to work during restaurant hours of operation (Wednesday through Sunday) with work weeks ranging from 35 - 45 hours
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer experience and staff development
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
