General Food Production Associate (Commerce, Ca)

Here are the minimum Requirements:

• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work in a group setting
• MUST be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• MUST be able to work in varied temperature environments (hot/cold)
• MUST be able to stand for long periods of time
• MUST be able to work overtime, weekends, and varied shifts to meet company demands
• Basic mathematical skills
• Bilingual a plus
• Must be willing to become certified in Safe Food Handling
• Previous Food Manufacturing Experience is preferred
• Proper clothing including non-slip shoes

Work environment is usually loud when in the manufacturing area. Employees are regularly standing, walking, talking and hearing. Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Will be accountable to the Porto’s Food Products Food Safety and Quality Principles.
