Warehouse Laborer Job Description:

We’re currently looking for Entry Level Warehouse Laborer's to join our warehouse team. The right person for this role will be comfortable on their feet (they’ll be standing/walking for at least 90% of their shift), comfortable with lifting 50lbs+, eager to pitch in whenever extra help is needed, and passionate about the Gateway Distribution brand and family.

Objectives of this Role:

• Handle heavy materials in a safe and orderly manner
• Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products
• Work with team members to meet and set goals
• Available To work 40 hours or more per work week
• Weekend Availability is a Must

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Load and unload light poles/flagpoles/Light Fixtures and FAK to and from trucks, as well as collecting material.
• Pick appropriate material according to order with accuracy

Skills and Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Punctual, Personable, and Willingness to learn
• Ability to Read, Write and Speak English
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Good time management skills
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds without assistance or above that weight is a team lift.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
• Able to communicate effectively with team members
• Willing to put in the work to make our mission a reality
