Belmont Medical Technologies is a leading provider of fluid management and patient temperature management solutions for use worldwide in medical facilities, military combat fields, and EMS settings. Your responsibilities will include:

• Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
• Review and approve all freight bills.
• Partner with Customer Service leaders to develop processes for international supply chain, including logistics, sales operations, trade compliance, planning, warehousing, for the subsidiary and distributor businesses.
• Monitor, review and ensure all paperwork is correctly filled out to ensure smooth delivery domestically and abroad.
• Respond to and resolve complaints of shipment problems.
• Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.
• Be knowledgeable of the regulatory and legal aspects as relating to the economics of distribution and transportation.
• Work with Tax and Customs partners to design, implement and manage processes to ensure compliance with customs regulations around the world.
• Develop strategies that improve freight costs.
• Leverage capabilities of the WMS and ensure system is maintained and sustainable to support business requirements.
• Coordinate receiving, inventory, shipping and cycle counting activities with manufacturing and materials management.
• Oversee shipment and receiving of materials in accordance with cGMPs, delivery requirements and quality specifications.
• Develop Logistics talent through deployment of learning framework and Supply Chain Academy to build skills and competency of the NA logistics organization
• Identify potential regulatory gaps and develop process improvement initiatives relating to dangerous goods storage plus domestic & cross-border transport

Skills

• Strong knowledge of global transportation models/ networks and evolving service levels.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain current business relationships and networking with large carriers and Logistics Service providers.
• Knowledgeable on the regulatory and legal aspects of rates and economics of transportation services, costs, operations, and negotiations.
• 5+ years global transportation and logistics experience.
• Strong hands-on team management skill.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently within a global and changing environment, including completion of tasks among different complexity levels.
• Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of supply chain management or international business administration.
• Strong business acumen and an understanding of end-to-end supply chain are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
