Legendary golf course designer Joe Finger created the most distinctive and strategically designed golf course in South Texas in Laredo Country club.

Position Description

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team, and provide a welcoming and dynamic member experience. A Pro-Shop Attendant will be responsible to assist in daily operations of our pro shop, maintain the merchandise and daily tee times.

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

• Deliver a friendly, energetic and positive approach to service.
• Must have great phone etiquette, a professional image at all times and be knowledgeable in service.
• Sell merchandise in Golf Pro Shop, ensuring that the shop operation is functioning well and that all phases of service and their execution are optimal.
• Will be cross trained in all aspects of the overall retail operation of the Golf Pro Shop.
• Assist in creating merchandising displays to maximize sales and product turnover.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Observe club's safety rules and regulations.
• Oversees and coordinates the work of all those involved in guest services while on the club's golf course, particularly Starters and Rangers.
• Monitors equipment and golf car use.
• Ensure smooth and reasonable pace of play is monitored by staff on golf course to avoid bottlenecks and delays.
• Control registration to prevent unauthorized people from using facilities.
• Assist golfers during play and in any emergencies on the course. Administer First Aid, if necessary.
• Control pace of play on golf course by directing players to the first tee at appropriate times.

Position Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
