The Communications Outreach Recruitment and Enrollment (CORE) Unit is one of the first stops along the path of that transformation. We initiate outreach to thousands of young adults across the state and then lead them through the enrollment process.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer II to join our CORE team. Below, is key information candidates should consider before applying.

The Graphic Designer II (GDII) position is based in Sacramento. The GDII will lead development and implementation of graphic design and digital content for distribution across multiple platforms intended to encourage enrollment in and support for the California Conservation Corps. The GDII will serve as part of the creative team in the Communications & Outreach unit, a division of Communications, Outreach,

Recruitment & Enrollment (CORE) within the CCC.

The position is fast paced, deadline oriented, and diverse in duties and deliverables. The GDII requires strong graphic design skills, excellent understanding and grasp of professional graphic design and image editing software, proven knowledge of social media content creation, social listening and response, and social media campaign concepts and implementation, strong speaking skills for interaction and engagement

with CCC staff and executive team, vendors, contractors, and Corpsmembers.

Knowledge and use of professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and other software is required. Knowledge and use of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms or software is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,879.00 - $6,108.00 per month
