This position can be in either North Carolina or South Carolina

Position Summary:

The Territory Sales manager is responsible for growing an assigned region to achieve premium objectives that directly impacts profitable growth by marketing payroll deduction employee benefit plans thru Life & Health broker distribution. Candidates must possess effective leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as presentation skills. They must also have a professional image, solid integrity, and a commitment to customer service. Moderate travel required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities thru leads, networking, referrals, and calls
  • Conduct meetings with employers to customize programs to meet benefits needs

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Group/Worksite distribution through broker and/or agency channels
  • Life, Accident & Health Licensing – Resident State

Required Job Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the desire of personal professional growth
  • Mindset of learning and advancement backed by a strong work ethic
  • Track record of block and premium growth through both organic and inorganic broker sales activities
  • Action oriented
