We are currently seeking a well-rounded energetic, reliable, and passionate Group Exercise Instructor that can teach Water Fitness classes

History

Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club was founded in 1959 and remains one of the longest lasting family owned fitness clubs in the United States. Its 6 acre facility offers a variety of programs in Aquatics, Group Exercise, Fitness, and Tennis.

Job Description

• Follows policies and procedures; responds to emergency situations.
• Keeps accurate class attendance records.
• Observes and adjusts approach to support all participants' capabilities, physical conditions, health, and culture.
• Builds effective, authentic relationships with members.
• Maintains working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members.
• Has a CAN DO attitude!

Requirements:

- Hold current nationally recognized (ACE, AFAA, NASM) Group Fitness Certification and/or specialty class certificate, specialty class license (i.e. Zumba®, Aqua Fitness, Barre, Indoor cycling)

- Current CPR/AED

- Have experience instructing class(es) listed above (1 year preferred)

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e. lift 25 lbs or more, walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, and other functional hand/eye coordination movements for the job)
