POSITION PROFILE:

As ‘Guest Services Agent’ you will be on the front line, delivering on our mission and representing Eagle Cottages in a professional manner, with a dash of upbeat and positive energy! You will be providing attentive customer focused service, understand brand standards, and enjoy working as part of a successful team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

• Greet guests on arrival, departure, and throughout their stay. We like to get to know our guests and create emotional connections that form memorable vacations
• Processing check-ins, check-outs, and being a resource for activities that guests can enjoy while staying with us
• Answering phone calls and responding to e-mails in a professional manner
• Good knowledge of Gulf State Park, its nine ecosystems, and the surrounding area
• Developing an experiential itinerary to enhance our guests stay
• Understanding our vision and maintaining a commitment to conservation sustainable practices
• Anticipate the guests needs and follow through
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution; acting quickly and thoughtfully while displaying empowerment when taking care of our guests

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: Three to twelve months of employment in a related position guest relation position with this company or other organizations.

Skills and Abilities: Requires having excellent computer and cash handling skills, ability to stand for extended periods of time; present a sociable, outgoing, lively and guest service-oriented demeanor. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job. Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

• A professional and positive demeanor, with an interest in enhancing the guest experience
• Ability to walk up and down stairs
• Working knowledge of software, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work up to 10 hours a day, four days a week, including weekends and holidays
• Working knowledge of property management systems, such as WebRezPro
• A motivated personality who can work as part of a team
• Have a current valid drivers license and vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
