Position Description:
Designs, develops, and executes digital executive level content, strategy, and messaging on behalf of the CEO for both Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona (GCNA), and Thrive Services Group Inc. across a wide variety of platforms. Promotes mission, vision, and brand-focused messaging on behalf of the CEO. Thoroughly understands the business, mission, and vision to create consistent and uniform messaging on behalf of the CEO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conceptualizes, writes, and edits digital communication to various audiences on behalf of the CEO primarily through various social media platforms.
2. Partners closely with Legal, Marketing & PR, other departments, and the Sr Executive Assistant to the CEO & Director of Admin Development to ensure cross-functional communication is appropriately executed. Follows internal marketing guidelines at all times.
3. Plans, designs, and executes a comprehensive and customized communication strategy around organizational core values, and the CEO’s personal brand.
4. Strategically shares the CEO's voice on specific topics aligned with Company strategy, mission and vision including innovation, sustainability, diversity, and government relations through social media platforms.
5. Creates messaging that deepens understanding and engagement of the Company’s overall mission, operational goals, and individual growth opportunities.
6. On behalf of the CEO, creates content which builds local and national awareness of the Company’s capabilities and builds strategic alliances and partnerships to support our work.
7. Develops analytics and reporting to measure success of Executive Communications efforts.
8. Attends various internal and external meetings/events, including culture events, community meetings/events, etc. in an observer capacity.
9. Plays critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.
10. Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience; work experience in Marketing, Communications, Business or another related field preferred.
  • Independently motivated and able to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and analytical skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and high-level learning agility.
  • Strong history of quickly building relationships (internal and external), gaining credibility, and partnering with department leaders and peers.
  • Strong organizational and detail orientation skills.
  • Experience with enterprise level social media accounts.
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media analytics.
  • Understands the value of a good brand and how to build value through social media.
  • Excellent internet search and navigation techniques required.
  • Strong integrity and commitment to ethics.
  • Ability to work respectfully with coworkers, and key stakeholders who are diverse with respect to race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, and religion.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software suite and other data systems.
  • Hands-on, team-oriented, and highly-responsive approach with flexibility and positive attitude.
  • Valid drivers' license and clean MVR.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
