Falmouth High School is seeking a long-term substitute teacher (on teacher contract) for the duration of the first semester of the 2023-24 school year to fill the role of a Earth and Space Science Teacher during a teacher's leave. The ideal candidate should hold a teaching certificate and have experience working in a high school classroom. The anticipated start date is August 25, 2023 and is tentatively slated to go through the end of the first semester.The Science Long-Term substitute teacher will: Instruct five sections of Earth and Space Science.Lead one advisory group.Study Hall for Grade 9-12.Work collaboratively Falmouth High School is located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop houses, and rich opportunities for collaboration between schools.
