Job description
The horticulture student worker will be involved in indoor/outdoor plant maintenance, pruning, greenhouse work, harvest, seeding and watering, composting and other duties, as needed. This position will require student workers to work in all weather conditions, student workers need to be willing to do physical labor and get dirty.
Required Qualification
- Must be a CLC student enrolled in a minimum of three (3) credit hours for summer OR six (6) credit hours for fall.
- Must be willing and able to work with a close attention to detail.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform manual labor indoors and on the farm.
- Self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in local food production and horticulture strongly preferred
