Job description
ClearVista, a state of the art behavioral hospital in Lorain, OH, is currently recruiting for Licensed Therapist/Social Workers-Counselor dedicated to compassionate care, clinical excellence, accountability, transparency and cultural humility to join our team.
Responsible for completing Psychosocial Assessments for our inpatient adult and geriatric patients. Completing Master Treatment Plans and facilitating Treatment Team. Providing group therapy following evidence-based, Trauma Informed Care curriculum. Providing family counseling/interventions as needed. Coordinating discharge placement and community aftercare.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborative Member of an Interdisciplinary Team
- Group Therapy/1:1 Therapy
- Therapy Notes
- Psychosocial Assessments
- Writing Progress Notes
- Writing Treatment Plan Goals
- Other emergent departmental therapy/treatment needs
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness is required
- Experience working with trauma survivors preferred
- Work with co-occurring substance use disorders preferred
- Training and Experience in running DBT Groups, a plus

Job Requirements:
Education/ Experience/ Licenses/ Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or current enrollment in MSW program is the minimum requirement for this position
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Accepted Minimum Licensure: LISW/LSW or LPCC/LPC (Currently enrolled students in a MSW Program, without a social work license, will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness is required
