Bar Marseille seeks Host for summer season

We are currently seeking an experienced Host to join our team at an upscale casual French-inspired restaurant. The ideal candidate should have a warm and welcoming personality, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

The starting pay rate is $15 per plus tips. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities Include:

• Greet guests and seat them in a timely and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and inquiries
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness of the host stand and waiting area
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Host or in a customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
• Willingness to learn about food and wine
