Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform day to day preventative maintenance of the facility
• Ensure guest rooms and common areas (lobby, fitness center, breakfast area, pool area, public bathrooms, etc) are well maintained and meet hotel standards
• Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on all hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical and guest rooms
• Upkeeping of guest rooms, interior and exterior (repairing holes in walls, changing settings on cooling and heating equipment, putting new light bulbs in hotel interior and outdoor lamps, performing general cleaning tasks inside and outside the hotel’s building)
• Repainting walls, fixing broken furniture, fixing minor electrical issues and making facets stop leaking
• Upkeeping of the exterior building and landscaping
• Making rounds of the hotel property to ensure everything is in working order
• Keeping up with deep cleaning (tile, grout, etc) and maintenance protocols related to Best Western Quality Assurance Assessments
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to guest needs
• Perform other duties where needed throughout the hotel premises

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
