SUMMARY: Assists both front desk and housekeeping by performing the following duties to insure a successful guest stay.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

•Assist elderly or infirm person into automobiles or taxicabs.

•Assist guests with their luggage–to and from their rooms and/or car

•Maintains cleanliness of property both interior and exterior including the restroomsand lobby area.

•Maintains cleanliness of property both interior and exterior including the restrooms and lobby area. Guidelines to include completion of the Walk-Through log.

•Know the location of all work materials and keep the material stocked andorganized.

•Assists laundry department by stocking clean linens.

•Delivers messages, packages, and amenities to guests.

•Set up and breakdown tables, chairs, etc. for banquets and conferences as needed.

•Respond to and support the front desk staff in dealing with late night guests.

•Be familiar with hotel emergency procedures and expedite the handling of all occurrences of an emergency nature.

SUMMARY: Clean guest rooms, halls, and administrative offices of the hotel under the direction of the head housekeeper. Housekeeper assignments are determined daily and are subject to change as business dictates. The responsibility of every housekeeper is to complete shift assignments in a professional and timely manner in accordance with Pacific Plaza Hotels, Inc. standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Change and make beds in accordance with hotel policy.

•Clean bathrooms to include all bathroom fixtures such as toilet, shower, bathtub and sinks.

•Replenish bathroom amenities such as toilet paper, soap, and towels.

•Replenish guest room supplies such as drinking glasses, coffee supplies, toiletry amenities and writing supplies.

•Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.

•Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.

•Dust furniture.

•Empty wastebaskets.

•Empty and clean ashtrays.

•Push housekeeping cart carrying supplies used to clean.

•Move and arrange furniture.

•Render personal assistance to guests

SUMMARY: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining linen of property by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

•Load and unload linens and towels into washers and dryers.

•Fold towels and sheets in a timely manner.

•Sorts, counts, marks, or carries linens.

•Check quality of linens and towels and take out of service if needed.

•Replenishes supplies such as soap, bleach, detergents.

•Must be familiar with property’s safety and emergency procedures.

•Must understand proper and safe use of laundry and cleaning chemicals.

•Sees that clean linen is distributed and dirty linen brought to laundry

•Know the location of work materials and keep materials stocked and organized.

•Needs to be familiar with inventory needs.

•Maintain cleanliness of work area.

•Maintain and clean laundry equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
