OACAC is seeking qualified candidates for a Housing Supportive Services Specialist position. The Housing Supportive Services Specialist (HSSS) is responsible for providing housing case management services to tenants of the Shelter Plus Care (SPC) Housing program. SPC provides permanent rental assistance for individuals and families who are homeless, disabled, who have very low income, and who are in need of supportive services. The HSS will provide case management services to tenants to obtain and maintain housing stability. Services will be provided in Greene, Christian, Webster, Stone, and Taney counties. Hours for this program may vary based on grant funding. This is a grant funded position through 07.31.24, with notice of renewal in the 3-6 months prior to the end of the grant period. $19.23/hr. Requirements:
HS Diploma/HISET required
Preferred, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or other related field or three years of relevant social services experience
Transportation
Resume and cover letter
Preferred: Ability to communicate in verbal and written communication, use of office equipment, prior documentation experience, ability to assist tenants in goal planning an achievement
