HR Generalist: Temporary Role - Part Time
Job description
Anticipated start date: mid-May 2023
This is an hourly, non-exempt position + you will provide all around assistance in busy HR Office, including tasks such as:
- Initial screening of resumes, conduct preliminary interviews + schedule candidate interviews;
- Complete all aspects of candidate pre-hire background check process;
- Onboarding newly hired candidates;
- Filing documents @ electronic employee files
- Providing general assistance to employees, employment verifications, WC clinic authorizations, general correspondence, research, etc.
- Updating HR page of employee intranet;
- Coordinating employee appreciation activities, events, meetings, etc.
- Preparing invoices for payment, tracking HR Department spend, etc.
- Assisting other HR Team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of successful work experience preferably in HR role, or Administrative Assistant role;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and One Drive
- Experience with Ultimate Software [Ulti Pro / UKG] preferred
- Strong people skills, friendly and helpful spirit
