GP Strategies Corporation has an opening for a Human Resources Director in Raleigh, NC. This is a full-time, benefitted position. For this position, you can work remotely but will need to be available to come into the office on occasion for meetings, etc.

As a North America Human Resources team member, you will operate as a strategic business partner to develop and deliver targeted HR support across multiple lines of business and geographical locations related to the full spectrum of HR services that drive business performance. This role will partner closely with the broader global HR organization and require the ability to connect, engage, and relate to people at all levels of the organization to manage and support strategic and tactical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create influential relationships with leadership across the different business lines to understand their strategies, priorities, and goals. Bring forward business knowledge to shape HR strategy and priorities.
  • Provide Talent strategy recommendations for the business based on insight and analysis of people-related business issues and opportunities.
  • Translate data into action by interpreting results of analyses to identify trends/themes and providing recommendations about organizational strategies, structures, and actions.
  • Collaborate with Global Centers of Excellence leaders to drive and deploy integrated local talent acquisition, talent management, development, performance management, DE&I, change management, culture, and transformation initiatives.
  • Work closely with the global and regional HR organization to ensure consistent communication and delivery of HR solutions and processes.
  • Support key transition and integration projects in partnership with global and local stakeholders. Participate on special and cross-functional project teams and present project-related training.
  • Oversee management, investigation, and resolution of complex employee complaints, grievances, and workplace concerns in an efficient, effective, and timely manner.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures incorporate best practices and are consistently and equitably applied while meeting legal requirements.
  • Support the execution of the regional compensation strategy, including evaluation of job architectures, development of pay policies and structures, salary survey participation, and incentive plans.
  • Provide perspective, guidance, and coaching to the HR team regarding business challenges and opportunities, enhancing capabilities, driving engagement and retention, increasing effectiveness, and optimizing department performance.
  • Drive innovation across the global HR function and be informed as a senior HR leader on trends regarding the future of work, employee tools, and benefits.

Experience / Skills / Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Eight (8) years of professional experience in HRBP-related disciplines.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Human Resources leadership/management role within a global organization.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or GPHR preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of HCM systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint applications.
  • Global experience supporting highly matrixed organizations desired.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, local, and federal contractor employment laws and compliance programs; experience researching and implementing human resources best practices.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and customer service skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with employees at various levels within the organization.
  • Business acumen with a mindset for continuous improvement and productivity.
  • Excellent people skills with strong listening skills and the ability to respond promptly to requests and issues.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to assess situations and make sound judgments based on practice or previous experience.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a collaborative, fast-paced, changing environment with competing and shifting priorities.
